Work from my Final Major Project at college. I gave my project the title 'Transition and Movement'.
This was originally meant to hang landscape but at last minute I decided to hang it vertically. It kind of looks better that way. Ink, chalk and watered-down acrylic on canvas, (can't remember the dimensions as I am crap at building canvases and it takes me the whole day to make) Close up sections of the canvas: [link] [link] |

I felt a bit self conscious about uploading my paintings but in the end I knew that I'd never learn anything if I didn't get any feedback.

i love it wen something like that happens, i love how ur paintings were not wat i was imagining and wen i see them there not paintings, they remind me of primal energies like, fire and water, then metallic molten cores of the sun.
i do look into it alot i guess, but i hope it helps

It's falling apart too. No matter what type of sketchbook I buy it always starts to fall apart halfway through the year

Haha, my college sketchbooks are A3 and I've tried everything from cardboard hardback to plastic, metal spiral bound to the... non-spiral bound thingies (can't remember the name!) Then a few months later I'm forced to perform my traditional "surgery" on them to try and save my coursework from falling out and getting lost!
My personal sketchbooks are A4 spiral bound but the backs keep coming off them! My A5 sketchbook that I carry everywhere with me seems to be fine... so far... and I also have an A2 spiral bound sketchbook for big works which is curling in the middle for some reason!
I think sketchbooks have some personal vendetta against me!
